This natural rough lapidary rock slab is lovely Willow Creek Jasper from just north of Eagle, Idaho (northeast of Boise) and is 5.7 inches by 4 inches and 5.4 mm thick.
It weighs .32 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 2 pictures.
This Jasper actually forms as the centers of giant thundereggs, some as large as 10 feet in diameter. Willow Creek Jasper is known for its subtle pastel colors, squiggly line patterns, and orb patterns. Compared to other fine jaspers, Willow Creek has fewer natural fractures.
