This lovely polished slab of Stinking Water White Plume Agate is 5 inches by 2.5 inches and 6 mm or .25 inch thick.
Stinking Water Plume aka White Plume Agate is found near the Stinking Water creek, in eastern Oregon. This area, east of Burns, is quite famous for great rockhounding.
Plume Agate is named for its natural inclusions that are shaped like plumes. Stinky Water Plume has white to yellowish plumes in a milky white nearly transparent agate.
This slab is polished on one side, left natural rough around the edges.
It has a natural vug or opening in its middle.
