This tiny but beautiful natural clear Rutilated Quartz crystal is a 6 sided polished point and it is 1 inch tall by .8 inches wide and .7 inches thick.
As is common with this material is does have natural internal flaws.
Rutilated Quartz is quartz with gold rutile inclusions.
This is one of the cabochon stones that is actually prized for its inclusions! Gold-colored, hair-like inclusions of rutile (a titanium dioxide mineral) embedded in this semi precious gemstone give it the appearance of a lightning show or meteor shower.
These inclusions mostly look golden, but they also can look silver, copper red or deep black.
In this crystal you see them in the pictures, but they are hard to see by eye!
