Product Description
Tiger-eye or Tiger's Eye Rough Rock Slab Stone for Cabbing
Lovely smaller flashy unpolished semiprecious stone slab of Red Tiger's Eye or Red Tigereye from Africa.
This lapidary rough rock stone is actually an endcut (natural rough on back) and it is 3.5 inches by 2.6 inches and just 2 m to 16.5 mm at its thickest.
This unpolished Red Tigereye slab weighs .20 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 2 pictures.
Tiger's Eye is a quartz usually with flashy yellow and brown stripes, but it can be red or blue. It contains oriented fibers of crocidolite that have been replaced by silica.
Natural red is very rare and this red tiger-eye material is actually heat treated yellow tiger-eye.
Tiger-eye is also vitreous (hard, unbendable and glass-like). With its strong chatoyance, the gemstone gets its name from its resemblance to the eye of a tiger.
Metaphysical Properties of Red Tiger-eye: Red Tiger-eye shares the same energies and properties of yellow or blue Tiger-Eye. It is believed it can help push you into action, help you stay focused, increase drive and determination and give one strength to get things done.
