This brown and gray semiprecious stone slab of Mushroom Jasper is 4.4 inches by 2.35 inches and 5.5 mm thick.
The unpolished rough rock slab weighs .16 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 2 pictures.
Mushroom Jasper is found in La Paz County, Arizona.
Though named jasper, it is actually a highly silicated orbicular rhyolite.
It was named Mushroom Jasper because somebody thought its orbs look like mushrooms!
The mushroom pattern is usually gray and often has quartz crystals in their centers.
