This natural rough rock stone slab of Poppy Jasper is 7 inches by 5 inches and 5 mm thick.
It weighs .46 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 2 pictures.
Please take note of the fracture line near the top in the first 3 pictures-visible on both sides.
Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper has red and yellow orbs or "flower poppies", hence the name Poppy Jasper.
It comes from Morgan Hill, California near the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
This area is known for tectonic plate movement and this semiprecious gemstone lapidary material usually has fracture lines-both healed and unhealed.
