Maw Sit Sit Unpolished Stone Slab Green Jade Small Rock
This very small unpolished stone slab of rare Maw Sit Sit green jade is just .7 inches or 18 mm long by .77 inch or 19.5 mm wide and and slightly curved on the back 3 to 4 mm thick.
This lovely piece is precoated in super glue for ease in cutting (this a piecee of foil stuck to its back!)and it weighs 2 grams.
This is just a small cutting scrap, but it will still make a small pretty cabochon. It's also perfect as a pocket rock, as a talisman for its healing powers, for inlay, or to be used in other crafts.
Gorgeous vibrant green with white and black splotches, this is known as Maw Sit Sit, named after the village it was found near.
Maw-sit-sit has a hardness of 6.
Maw-sit-sit is composed of jadeite, chromite, ureyite, symplektite, chrome amphibole, and other lighter minerals.
