This lovely polished piece of semiprecious stone Malachite is 3.5 inches long by 2.75 inches wide, and 2.25 inches tall.
This natural green rock is Malachite and it is "roughly" polished all the way around, meaning it still has some natural roughness to it.

Malachite is a copper carbonate. It has a hardness between 3.5 and 4. It crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system, and most often forms botryoidal, fibrous, or stalagmitic masses.
This material is found in the oxidation zone of major copper deposits.
This stone's name is from the Greek, malache, - "mallow" in reference to its green leaf color.
Metaphysical Properties: Malachite is a very protective stone, being especially helpful for general protection, protection from evil, protection during pregnancy and childbirth, and protection for children.
