Lion Figurine Carving Epidote Stone Statue
This hand carved green stone lion figurine is 6.75 inches long and 2.2 inches wide and 4 inches tall.
Epidote is a calcium aluminum iron sorosilicate mineral. Many metamorphosed rocks contain small amounts of epidote. One well known Epidote is pink and green, and is called Unakite. This material is actually red and green, and the red is the mineral Piemontite.
This Epidote comes from Africa.
Metaphysical properties: Epidote is said to be good for releasing negative energies. It is believed to help promote optimism.
