This material is known as Zebra Jasper for obvious reasons, but is in fact a marble/epidote.
It is 4.8 inches tall by 6 inches long and 1.7 inches wide.
This lustrous pink marble with beautiful green Epidote marbling, is a metamorphosed limestone.
Marble is a metamorphic material and is found all over the world in many different colors and patterns.
The colors are due to impurities present when the rock was changing -clay, sand, iron oxide, etc.
