This lovely wolf head is hand-carved and has a natural crystal Druse Agate pocket!
The gemstone wolf is 4.2 inches tall by 3.7 inches wide and 2.5 inches thick.
A layer of very fine crystals formed on a semiprecious stone chalcedony, is known as "Druse" "Drusy" or even sometimes "Druzy".
Many agates are hollow, and in such cases the center often consists of quartz crystals growing towards the free space, forming a crystal-lined cavity, or geode.
This lovely natural agate comes from Brazil.
