This cute hand carved Epidote and Piemontite elephant figurine is 4 inches long by 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall.
Epidote is a calcium aluminum iron sorosilicate mineral. Many metamorphosed rocks contain small amounts of epidote. One well known Epidote is pink and green, and is called Unakite. This material is actually red and green, and the red is the mineral Piemontite.
This Epidote comes from Africa.
