Chrysocolla Shattuckite Polished Stone Slab
This gorgeous new material is Chrysocolla Shattuckite from Sonora, Mexico.
The semiprecious stone slab is polished on one side, natural around the edges.
It was cut using a surface resin and could be recut into cabochons.
It is 3.5 inches long by 3.1 inches wide and 6 mm thick.
Chrysocolla-Shattuckite is a rare and beautiful dark and light blue mixed semiprecious gemstone material!
Chrysocolla, a copper silicate, blends well with other copper gemstones. This colorful gemstone material is found in the oxidation zone of major copper deposits. Shattuckite is named from where it was first found, i.e. the Shattuck mine, in Bisbee, Arizona.
